Rock’n’roll and stars
Shirt – Pull and Bear
Dungarees – Zara
Shoes – Sammydress
If you know me then you know that I absolutely LOVE the 80’s and the rock’n’roll era of this period. I’m obsessed with the music, the clothing style and everything else that comes with the 80’s. Honestly if I could I would be living in that time period forever. You know, the easier life, no smart phones glued to everyone’s faces and all that fancy pantsy stuff that we have happening today. SO shall we build a time machine?? YES please!
As the clothing style in the 80’s was pretty relaxed with a lot of denim (LEVIS it is!) like our beloved or hated mom jeans, oversized denim jackets and cooler kids even pulled off the dungarees. Then we had the moto leather jackets (my total obsession), stripes on the shirts and the feet were spoiled by the sneakers from Converse, Nike and Adidas. What could be more fantastic? Rock’n’roll style of course! The band t-shirts, rips and distressing, stripes, stars, lived in denim and oh.. I just can’t.. you get the point I’m totally obsessed. There is no feeling to describe what I feel when TV starts showing “The Breakfast Club” or “Pretty in Pink” or the radio in a car that’s playing AC/DC or The Cure.. just chills..
This look was put together based on these wonderful gold lace up shoes. These shoes also come in silver, but for once I was craving for something golden. Because the shoes have stars all over the straps, this instantly screams for rock’n’roll in my eyes. Based on that fact I just had to pair those beauties with a black AC/DC band tee. To create a more feminine silhouette I threw on those kick and flare dungarees. Hair messily up in a high ponytail and red lips and I’m living a dream.. well almost..
