Metallics – Fall fashion trends 2016

It’s all about metallics – head to toe metallics. Bold gold and high shine metallics worn head to toe is the new way to go. Designers LOVED this trend by sending out dozens and dozens of models supporting this look in every possible way. The space girls walked down the catwalks dressed in super polished, minimal, sophisticated, grungy and edgy looks. Don’t be scared to mix different metals or add different textures like beads, pearls or embellishments – more is more in this case.

The easiest way to tip your toe into this trend is with metallic shoes. Metallic shoes add enough sparkle to spice up any outfit just enough to stand out.

Next up we have skirts. Pleated metallic skirts have been gaining a lot of popularity in high street stores. The midi length pleated skirt or just your basic mini skirt, pairing it with a graphic or band tee gives you the coolest rock chick vibes. Finish off your look with a bold red lip and a pair of ankle boots and you will impress many. You can also tone down the look with a simple cotton tee and sneakers. Add a bomber jacket or a parka and you will have a whole new look.

Both metallic shoes and skirts have been IN for quite some time now, however the new IT metallic trend is metallic jackets. The best way to stand out in the cold dark winter weather is to shine out from the crowd with your very own metallic jacket. Believe it or not but a jacket like this is actually really easy to combine with anything you own in your closet. Metallics are pretty neutral even though it might be scary to most.

If day time sparkle scares you too much, then guess what? Night time sparkle is acceptable to anyone! Doesn’t matter if it’s a piece of clothing, accessory, shoes or even makeup, there is a way to shine for each and everyone of you!
