If color injection is not your strong suit, then a nice khaki or navy blue clothing item is a perfect way to start injecting some color into your wardrobe. Navy and khaki are one of the few colors that work absolutely amazing with black and white and give this little bit of extra color back to your otherwise colorless wardrobe. This flowy layered khaki top is perfect, as khaki is a very popular color this summer. This top is also the second pick out of my Dresslink order. I still can’t believe how inexpensive all their products are. I combined the top with a simple monochromatic outfit and chose 2 focal pieces – shoes and bag. Although pairing your shoes, belt and bag is irrelevant in today’s fashion, I still like how an outfit can be pulled together perfectly just by following a few rules. Nice accent pieces can take your boring one toned outfit to a whole new level. And let’s not forget about the pointy nose and open back element on a shoe that is extremely popular again.
