My second look from my Zanzibar lookbook has to be this boho chic neon combo. Neon has been the “IT” color in beach fashion for a very long time, mostly because it looks absolutely gorgeous with a tanned skin. As much as neon is a thing, so are halter crochet tops. This 90’s trend is perfect for the summer, especially when you want to show off your inner Coachella queen and the boho chic vibes on the beach. Halter tops are mostly very daring with a low back that shows off all kind of sexy, which makes them a perfect beach cover-up. Pulling together a boho chic look means you can wear the coolest shoes ever – the gladiator/lace up sandals. Yes, this trend has been going strong for quite some time. There is just something super sexy and mysterious in those amazonian warrior shoes that makes every fashion girl wanting to wear them.

Here are some tips when trying out the boho chic trend: Work with prints like tie dye, paisley, floral and suzani. Fringe is one of the best accents to add to anything you wear (such as on cross-body bags and jackets). Stacked silver jewelry with turquoise stones and anything with beads, feathers, coins and embroidery are the best accessories. Your hair should be all about braids and flower crowns or wearing turbans, headbands or floppy hats. Maxi dresses, skirts and over the shoulder dresses are a must. If dresses are not your forte then flared pants are the next best option. And the best friends on your feet are either gladiator sandals or cowboy boots. For the colder weather a fur gilet is a good option.
